Welcome

Leylodge is a quiet rural hamlet just outside of Kintore Aberdeenshire . We have had a substation in Leylodge for years but the past few years it’s doubled in size and a battery storage unit built just down the road nearer Kintore. We have since found out that there is another battery storage being built up the back of Northleylodge which has been approved by planning. We have since found out that station that will literally take up a lot of the fields round the residential area . We are also having to deal with extra big pylons that will go from us to Tealing in Dundee. There’s also 2 battery storage units planned for Kintore . One at Midmill and one at Broomhill . This is going to turn our little hamlet into an industrial concrete jungle which we are hoping to try and stop. We are not against renewable energy but to have this much dumped in such a small area housing around 40 homes we don’t want it being built here . Please like and share and show us your support .
